Surprisingly Good

Really refreshing to find a real pub that does food as opposed to one that has been

unsuccessfully smartened up.

Friendly staff, good telephone manner when I booked, great service and excellent food. What's not to like?

Why can't other pubs get the basics right like this one?

Top Sunday Lunch

Stopped by on spec as visiting our parents graves in the village and fancied a light Monday lunch beforehand.

Last time I went to the Hut was probably 40 years ago!

Very warm welcome and had a super lunch. The steak sandwich was perfect.

Very fresh bread and perfectly cooked steak. Ham, egg and chips was substantial and very good too.

Good thick chips!

The beer was excellent and we enjoyed watching the chinook helicopters from RAF Benson practicing manoeuvres overhead.

A fabulous stop-off that def hit the spot!
